Contraindications
No contraindications have been observed with Coolant syrup.  
Key ingredients
Antacid effect of abhaya, dhatri & yashtimadhu controls excessive acids and reduces hypersecretion of acid from gastric mucosa. Anti-inflammatory activity of yastimadhu and vishvabheshaj provides protection to gastric mucosa. Carminative agent dhanyak & jirak provides relief from flatulence by removing excess gases from the stomach. Antiemetic agent chhardiripu, valo controls nausea and vomiting associated with gastric disturbances. Antispasmodic action of valo relieves spasm and pain in stomach. Prokinetic agent abhaya normalizes peristaltic movement of intestine thereby helps in easy evacuation.  
Dosage
The recommended dose is 2 to 4 times a day depending on age group

Side effects
Side effects of Coolant have not been observed, even after long-term treatment if taken as per the prescribed dosage.
