IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Using Glucometer
Step 1. Insert the test strip into the meter to turn it on.
Step 2. Obtain a blood drop from a fingertip and apply on the strip.
Step 3. Results will appear automatically. Remove and dispose of the test strips.
Using a Lancing Device
Step1. Remove cap, insert a lancet, twist off cover and replace cap.
Step 2. Press priming button then press the yellow release button.
Step 3. Once the blood sample is obtained, remove cap and eject used lancet.
Cautions
Check and prepare you kit including meter, test strip, lancing device etc.
Wash and dry your hands before you begin the testing.
Gear up the lancing device with a new lancet.
Warm up your hands by rubbing or washing with warm water for a better blood flow.
Prick your finger with the lancing device at the sides of the finger as there are less nerve ending here than at the tips.
Keep switching your finger to prevent thickening of the skin.
Avoid using your little finger due to the skin being thin.
Be careful not to smear the drop.
Gently touch the blood drop with the test strip in the meter, wait a few seconds for result to appear.
Record the result and dispose of the test strip into a sharps bin.

Only a small amount of blood (0.5 µl) is needed for checking the blood sugar level.
Use the test strips of the Dr Trust. The strips of other brands not always be the compatible with the meter.

The Dr Trust Gold Standard Blood Glucose Monitoring System is the most accurate device to monitor glucose (sugar) in blood at home. It requires only a small blood sample (0.5µL), which makes testing less painful.
 
This technology avoids interference from blood oxygen variations. It also prevents galactose and maltose interference in blood samples. The sample from arteries, veins, and capillaries can be used to apply the GDH-FAD strip.
 
The device warns you if your ketones level reaches over 13 mol/L, which can lead to diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), if not controlled on time.
 
 
The GDH-FAD strip allows you to eject the blood out of sites other than the fingertip. These sites include the forearm, upper arm, thigh, and calf. This reduces pain due to repetitive pricking.
 
 
The result is displayed along with face symbols within 5 seconds. A happy smiley indicates positive results and a sad smiley indicates unsatisfactory results.
 
 
The meter stores the 1000 most recent blood glucose test results along with respective dates and times in its memory.
 
 
Gen/ AC/ PC/ QC Modes: The device comes with General, AC (empty stomach), and PC (after taking meal) modes. The general mode can be used to take blood glucose measurements at any point of the day. While QC test can be performed anytime to check the accuracy and working of glucometer by using quality control solution (not included in the box).
